Crafted exclusively from botanicals collected within Otahuna’s heritage gardens and water sourced directly from the Estate, this artisanal gin embodies the property's storied terroir through gin maker Mark Rose's meticulous triple-distillation process.
The development of the gin spanned nearly ten months in which Mark carefully harvested the botanicals as they reached peak expression throughout the changing seasons. This patient approach ensured that each plant contributed its optimal aromatic compounds to the final blend, reflecting the natural rhythm of the property’s century-old ecosystem.
The captivating bouquet exhibits myoga ginger's warm spice, the bright citrus burst of lemongrass and the subtle sweetness of quince fruit. These distinctive flavour notes work in harmony to create a gin that is both complex and approachable, offering a taste uniquely representative of Otahuna.
